Now I’ve got the space for it, I treated myself to a beautiful new loom from Oaken Craft. Today I set it up all ready to warp.

The last few days have been unseasonably warm for May, and my flax seedlings are shooting up.

Newly built garden cabin means I have a dedicated space to play and make a mess again after we moved here 8mths ago. So many things I want to do I don’t know where to start. But wool is calling to me at the moment so I’m practising blending and spinning and weaving with the dream of eventually making my own woollen fabric one day.
