Spent a few nights staying with my family in one of the yurts at the Ssustainability centre which is such a magical place.
It was not relaxing as we have a three year old but it was wholesome and fun and everyone came home covered in mud, paint and blackberry stains.
I bought a cheap, vintage, toy weaving loom off ebay to have a play with. I thought it would be a good way to utilise all the ribbons, selvedge edges, bits of string, etc I tend to accumulate over the years. Initially it looked complicated to set up but it wasn’t in the end and yes indeed I’ve found a new craft to get obsessed with.
